Social inclusion -strategies and practices from Nordic countries – NHA training

Social inclusion is a crucial aspect of homelessness work and Housing First. This seminar looks at
how inclusion is effectively promoted through urban planning, inclusive strategies, collaboration
between stakeholders and community building. Examples from Odense (DK), Gothenburg (S) and
Trondheim (N) show how we can create socially sustainable and well-functioning cities where all
groups of inhabitants are included as full-fledged inhabitants of the city. Speakers will address
social inclusion on the city level, neighborhood communities and collaboration around supported housing units.
