Janne Runsamo Appointed New CFO of Y-Säätiö 1.5.2026News MSc (Economics and Business Administration) Janne Runsamo has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of Y-Säätiö. He will begin in the role in May 2026 and will also join the Y-Säätiö Group Management Team. Runsamo has more than 20 years of experience in demanding finance and treasury leadership positions in both Finnish and international organizations. Runsamo joins Y-Säätiö from VR Group, where he has served as Director of Treasury and Risk Management. Previously, he worked as CFO at SATO Corporation and at Pöyry Plc (now AFRY). During his career, he has been responsible for extensive financing arrangements, developed financial and treasury processes, and led demanding transformation projects. Runsamo’s core expertise includes capital structure management, financial modelling, risk management, and business-driven financial leadership. Y-Säätiö’s current CFO, Kari Komu, will move to the role of Finance Director and step down from the Group Management Team.
